Admissions

We are delighted that you are considering Disley Primary School for your child. School admissions are coordinated by Cheshire East Council and applications must be made through the appropriate admissions process depending on your child's age and circumstances. 

Applying for a Reception Place

Children usually start school in the September following their fourth birthday.

Disley Primary School is an academy within True Learning Partnership. Applications for Reception places are made through your home Local Authority and administered through Cheshire East Council in accordance with the school's published admission arrangements. 

Families living in Cheshire East

If you live in Cheshire East, you should apply through the Cheshire East Parent Portal and include Disley Primary School as one of your preferred schools.

Families living outside Cheshire East

If you live in another Local Authority area, you must apply through your own Local Authority's school admissions portal, even if you wish your child to attend Disley Primary School. Your home Local Authority will coordinate the application with Cheshire East. 

In-Year Admissions

If you would like your child to join Disley Primary School during the school year, you will need to submit an in-year admission application.

Families living in Cheshire East

Applications should be made through the Cheshire East In-Year Admissions Portal. 

Families living outside Cheshire East

If you live outside Cheshire East, you should apply through your own Local Authority's admissions portal. Your Local Authority will liaise with Cheshire East and the school as part of the admissions process.
